Take Aways

Learned more about Prestage.  Teacher support.  Learned from every presentation.  Presentations were not rushed and left time for discussion.  Best retreat yet.  Subject matter was enough and not too in-depth.  Boards willing to come together to meet.  Good overview.  Agenda appropriate.  CAL motivated to update their crisis plan.  A lot to take in.  It helps to learn from each other.  Able to see other’s challenges and work together.  Chapter 20 opportunity to work together.  Share resources with growth.  Current problems and help each other.  Innovative, creative, inspired.  Chapter 20 will not change how staff is treated.  Need to be competitive to hire staff and meet to share work load.  Don’t need outside moderator in the future.  Intensity.  Lots of information.  Thank you for coming and putting this together.  Using a blue light to indicate a building lockdown.

Adjourn: Motion to adjourn Jon Rowen.  Second Elaine Schope.  All ayes.  Adjourned @ 9:19pm
