Kindergarten read the story Five Little Pumpkins and then they were challenged to create a fence that could hold 5 little pumpkins using only cardboard, clothespins, and toilet paper tubes! Their fence had to all be connected, they couldn’t hold the pumpkins with their hands, and the pumpkins couldn’t touch the tables! We had 3 successful groups!!

4 year old preschool was challenged with building a tower taller than themselves today! After we were done building, we discovered some patterns in our towers such as starting with big items on the bottom or containers going upside down, then right side up, then upside down, and on and on.

Pumpkin!
1st grade has been learning about light and its ability to illuminate objects. They are also learning about creating physical models of things to explain their thinking. Today they got to explore squishy circuits! They were very creative! We had pumpkins, snakes, the sun, and many more designs! It required some critical thinking using insulating dough to get all their designs to light up!
