
Kindergarten wrote their own codes to create beaded ornaments. First they had to write the code, and then they had to tell their code to their partner while their partner put beads onto a pipe cleaner that we turned into an ornament! We were working on following basic directions as we created programs and algorithms!



This week in the CELL when students finished an activity they had the chance to build the tallest Christmas tree with cups! We had some pretty tall trees!!



1st grade enjoyed pj and hot cocoa today!



Due to the weather prediction for Wednesday we will not be having our Cookies & Conversation for this Wednesday. Our next meeting will be in January.

1st grade enjoyed exploring with spoon gongs today to learn more about how sound travels!





3rd graders are learning about the water cycle in science. We had fun creating clouds in a jar!





1st grade used our large letter cards to practice making words in reading today!



This month for Cookies and Conversation with Lili & Dani we will have a guest speaker from Crisis Intervention Services.




1st grade has enjoyed being in the CELL the last couple mornings. Did marble run yesterday and squishy circuits today!




1st grade enjoyed some extra time in the CELL to start our morning. We used the kinder bots and the bee bots!




4th grade is working on area and perimeter with a little festive fun! 🎁




1st grade explored with sound again today and also explored with different volumes.





2nd grade students working on designing their own map for our Map Skills unit in Social Studies. Their maps needed to include a compass rose, map key, and at least six symbols.





Kindergarten also got to explore creating holiday images on our LEGO wall!




Kindergarten continued to learn about and practice creating algorithms and sequences today! They had to code Scrat to his acorn. They are focusing on using arrows to represent information.
