Every week a new kindergarten plant checker comes to the CELL each morning to help take care of some of our many plants. They double check that our plants are getting everything they need to grow and thrive and get to use a moisture meter and watering can. They also record information about the weather so we know if our outside plants are getting what they need too! This is a great hands on way for them to explore what living things need!

6th grade finished up our late season planting today! They had a little extra time and noticed some mulch that needed spread on the path to the gardens so they tackled that, and spent their last few minutes of science collecting zinnia seeds. We've got a pretty good collection going so far and are already looking forward to expanding our zinnia patch next year!
