
5th grade took a field trip outside this morning for reading! They spent time making observations and used their five senses. They will utilize those descriptive writing skills on their personal narratives!




1st grade enjoyed collecting some data today by asking their classmates their favorite animal found in the wild. We then were able to ask and answer questions about each groups data!




Kinder prepared for making their dill dip by coding robots to collect ingredients and practice the steps of the recipe. They also practiced measuring with measuring spoons, cups, and sand. Their practice paid off... everyone agreed the dip was delicious!







6th grade and kindergarten teamed up to make fresh dill dip today! It was made using dill from the school gardens, and enjoyed with some veggies from the school gardens. There was lots of sharing, taking turns, and working together!











1st grade finished up fables and folktales so we acted out our stories and wrote our own fable or folktale and shared to the class yesterday!






1st grade earned their PBIS reward and played games in the gym! They played 3 different kinds of TAG!





Math partners are a part of our everyday routine in 3rd grade. Students learn how to share and practice math ideas with each other.











1st grade has been learning about goods and services so they got in groups and sorted cards into 2 groups- goods or services!






5th graders spent some time outside yesterday studying plant growth! We love our outdoor learning spaces.



Kindergarten is really excited to start making their dill dip next week! Today, they used the BeeBots to collect all of the ingredients they will need to make their dip.







4 Year Old Preschool practiced concepts of print and other foundations of reading today! after they "read" the story as a whole group they read on their own and then colored the pictures!










5th grade spent some time with our Indie robots!

Preschool 3s had their first innovation with Ms. Enslin and Mrs. Craighton. We started our investigation into balance by building blocks and talking about how to balance them.











Every week a new kindergarten plant checker comes to the CELL each morning to help take care of some of our many plants. They double check that our plants are getting everything they need to grow and thrive and get to use a moisture meter and watering can. They also record information about the weather so we know if our outside plants are getting what they need too! This is a great hands on way for them to explore what living things need!





The Game of Life! 🎲🧩♟️ Spending and saving is a part of everyday life. Our fourth graders got a taste of 'real life' when playing this game to kick off our financial literacy unit! Stay tuned to hear how our fourth graders build skills to be financially literate and good choice makers when it comes to money.






Fun Friday was a hit in 4th grade! We have been talking about character traits of a good friend during our morning meetings and put them into action by playing with some kits from the CELL with our classmates.

6th grade finished up our late season planting today! They had a little extra time and noticed some mulch that needed spread on the path to the gardens so they tackled that, and spent their last few minutes of science collecting zinnia seeds. We've got a pretty good collection going so far and are already looking forward to expanding our zinnia patch next year!
